  Iwao Matsuoka

Research Associate, Institute of Economic Research, Kyoto University

Mr. Matsuoka is an assistant professor in the Institute of Economic Research of Kyoto University. His research topics are mainly energy and environmental economics and he has evaluated the feasibility of some new energy technologies quantitatively.
Space energy utilization is also one of his topics. He is involved and participates in two commissions concerning space energy utilization with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.

He studied Economics in the Department of Economics and Energy Science in the graduate School of Energy Science in Kyoto University.
