  Dr. Sanjay Marwah

Research Manager, Japan International Transport Institute

Sanjay Marwah is the Research Manager at JITI. He leads research on transportation and environmental issues and provides assistance on aviation, other transportation, and policy issues.
Dr. Marwah worked on technical, regulatory, and policy aspects of stratospheric ozone protection and climate change.
His other research experience is in the areas of sociology, political economy, and science and technology. His work experience includes numerous academic, policy, and consulting organizations (including the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, the World Bank, the Bradley Foundation, and George Mason University).
He has over three years of full-time university-level teaching experience in the areas of criminology, sociology, and business management at Texas Tech University, Ohio University, and The Washington Center.
Dr. Marwah has published in numerous academic and policy journals and has presented at numerous conferences.

Dr. Marwah obtained his BA and BS in Economics and Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning from University of California, Davis; a MA in International Political Economy from Claremont Graduate University; and a PhD in Public Policy from George Mason University.
