Kazuhiro Tabuchi
Deputy Director, Japan International Transport Institute
Before appointing as Deputy Director of Japan International
Transport Institute, Mr. Tabuchi has served as an official of
Japanese Government since 1985, starting as a ship inspector
for Japanese flag vessels.
As particular experiences for international
maritime safety, Mr. Tabuchi had attended several technical
committees and sub-committees of International Maritime Organization
and preparatory meetings to establish Tokyo MOU during mid-1990,
as Japanese delegation.
Also, until March 2004, Mr. Tabuchi
had served as Director for Port State Control Affairs, Maritime
Bureau of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Mr. Tabuchi graduated from Tokyo University in 1985 with a bachelor’s
degree in mechanical engineering.
