Hayao Hora
Vice-Minister for International Affairs,Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport
Mr. Hayao Hora entered into the Ministry of Transport in 1971. Mr. Hora's civil aviation work began in June of 1988 when he was appointed to the position of Director of Air Traffic Services (ATS) System Planning Division in the Civil Aviation Bureau.
In 1993, he held the position of Director of the Aviation Industries Division, and then in 1994, he became the Director of the General Affairs Division. Then in August 2002, Mr. Hora was promoted to the post of Director-General of the Civil Aviation Bureau. He has been in his current position of Vice-Minister for International Affairs since July 2003.
Mr. Hayao Hora earned his bachelor's degree of law from the University of Tokyo.
