Hisayasu Jin
General Manager
External Affairs Division, ClassNK
Hisayasu Jin has been with ClassNK since his graduation from the Department of Naval Architecture of the Yokohama National University. Through his work in the area of ship classification at ClassNK he has been extensively involved in the technical areas of the IMO and international relations in the maritime world.
From 2000 to 2001 he was the Chairman of the General Policy Group of the International Association of Classification Societies, and from 1992 to 1999 served as the Principal Technical Officer in the Permanent Secretariat of the IACS. Today he continues to be involved in the General Policy Group of IACS in technical provisions and policy.
